MISSION OUTREACH
Greeters are now greeting you as you arrive and as you leave church and encouraging our guests to sign the guest book. As winter months approach, we will be looking for our "snow-birds" residents to be greeters. Please sign up in the Ministries building? Your name tags will be waiting for you in the church foyer on the day you greet . It's a wonderful way to get to know everyone who attends our church! We now have a sign-in clipboard in each pew to use each Sunday. Even though our congregation is small, we are also very mobile. At times it is difficult to know who is away or unable to attend and how the church might best meet your needs. We will also be following up with our visitors by sending them a newsletter and letter after their first visit and personal contacts when appropriate. We are looking for individuals and couples who would be willing to visit, contact by phone or send a note to our church visitors, shut-ins, members and church friends who are temporarily unable to attend church due to illness or other situations. We also need drivers who can provide transportation for older church members who do not drive to church, at night or to special events. A sign up sheet is available. The Mission/Outreach team will be helping the community concert committee identify local organizations or charities who could benefit from our concerts and work with us on promotion of the concerts for this fall. If you know of any such local organizations/charities.
